Here are a few of that backgrounds that we have been working on for the final animation. drew these layouts and painted them using some textures that Amy created. I think they could be better as in more textured and detailed but for now we need to get them done to make them a part of our final animation.

Mery and dog
I had a lot of problems with this, I'm not sure why. Firstly the timing is way off but I ran out of time to fix that because the computer I was working on kept crashing, even when I moved computers. I also lost half of my animation and had to re-do it, which is why it hasn't been completed. This was meant to be about the dog, Cody creeping up on Mery in attempt to scare her but she knows he is coming and scares him back. I tried to show this through the facial expressions but I couldn't get Merys facials to work. :(
Rendered character interaction
I rendered this without changing the lights as I forgot to turn off default light and set up ones so we're able to see the characters; mental note for next time!
3D environment
Finally the render is done! I would have had a longer clip to show of my rendered 3D environment, however I hadn't allowed myself enough time for this render. I think it turned out pretty well, although there is a lot more I would have liked to add to it. I will remember to allow myself more time in future with a project like this so I am able to add more detail to make it look more realistic.
White board experimental
As part of the experimental I thought I'd have a go at doodling all over a whiteboard, which resulted in me creating the most random short story ever! But I love it! Although I didn't like how the pen rubbed out the line at the end whenever I tried to extend a line for the next frame. That might have just been my pen though, but it turned out okay overall.
Character interaction
Here we were given the challenge of making two characters interact using the same sound clip from the 11 second club that we used for the lip sync with Mery. I really enjoyed this as it was a great way to see how much a person moves and reacts when the other is speaking. I think it turned out pretty well and I'm quite happy with it.
