Block push

This was the most difficult assignment so far as the IKFK switch was confusing as well as showing progression by creating playblasts of different steps. I think I definitely need to try this again from the beginning even if it's just to get a better understanding but I'd like to create a better animation of a man pushing a block.

Throwing balls

This project was to use a parent constraint to attach the ball to the rigs hand to show them moving together. I found this assignment very difficult as I seemed to be affecting the constraint I created because I had a motion trail on the ball and I needed to step the constraint. After I worked this all out the animation of the rig was fairly easy to do. I think it could still be improved.
My aim for this was to make a baby reach out to pick up a ball like a baby would but then suddenly change character and act like an adult/throw back like a more experienced person for a comical effect. I think it sort of shows it but I can improve this by exaggerating the movements.

Dive and splash

I'm quite happy with how this 2D work turned out! I think if I were to change anything I'd make the whole board bend rather than just the end of it.

Yawn and stretch

I had a little problem with this as I was struggling to get the timing right for when the arms fell back down by his side to make it look realistic. I think if I worked some more on this I could improve it by changing the curves in the graph editor.

Weight shift

I found this assignment fun because creating a weight shift was a series of very small adjustments of the rig to create a small action. I think it worked out well but I could try it again showing a weight shift of different emotions as well as using the arms to express the emotion better.

Juggle

For this assignment we had to show hands juggling three balls by turning the drawings and objects into symbols. At first I found it very confusing but the more I practised the easier it became. The only thing I would change with this is to make sure I add colour to the hands so the balls aren't visible through them.

Eden

Some drawing I did on our trip to Eden. I think next time I go on a drawing trip or any quick drawings I do in future, I should use pen or other mediums to explore with. I think using biros and pens will help me to work faster to capture what I need to as I won't be able to rub out.
